Healthpath wanted to launch a patient-facing health companion app in a regulated market where trust and accessibility make or break adoption. They had clinical expertise but no engineering team, and a hard launch date tied to a partnership announcement.

OUR APPROACH

How we tackled it

We led with design — running research with real patients to shape an onboarding flow that felt human, not clinical. We built a HIPAA-aligned architecture on AWS from day one, with accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) treated as a launch blocker, not a nice-to-have. Design and engineering ran in parallel from week three.
