MVP DEVELOPMENT
From validated scope to live product — in 8 to 12 weeks.
Our flagship engagement. A fixed-scope sprint that takes your scoped idea through design, development, QA, and deployment. You get weekly build demos, a dedicated product manager, and a 30-day post-launch support window. We've done this 60+ times.
Fixed scope, fixed price
We quote based on a defined scope and hold to it. No change orders for in-scope work, no billing surprises at the end.
Code you'll be proud to inherit
Documented, tested, and structured so your next developer can hit the ground running. We build as if we'll never see the codebase again.
30 days post-launch support
Every engagement includes a 30-day post-launch window for bug fixes and minor tweaks — no extra charge.
WHAT YOU GET
A live product. Not a prototype.
Every MVP engagement ends with a production-deployed product — fully handed over, documented, and yours.

HOW IT WORKS
The 12-week sprint.
Design, development, QA, and deployment — with a weekly demo and a live staging environment from week five.
Week 1
Scope alignment
One final scoping session to lock the build list and resolve any ambiguities. What's in. What's out. What gets phased post-launch. Everything in writing before we start.
Output: Locked scope document signed off by both sides
- Feature-by-feature review of the scope
- Technical assumptions validated
- Sprint plan and milestone dates confirmed
Weeks 2–4
UX design
Low-fidelity wireframes → high-fidelity UI → interactive prototype. Two review rounds with your team before a line of production code is written.
Output: Developer-ready Figma file with interactive prototype
- Wireframes covering all primary user journeys
- Design system built in parallel for component reuse
- Interactive prototype for stakeholder sign-off
- Figma handover with spacing, tokens, and interaction specs
Weeks 4–6
Sprint 1 — core architecture
Database design, API contracts, authentication, and the first complete user journey live on a staging URL. You can test it by the end of week five.
Output: Working staging environment with core user journey functional
- Database schema and API contract documentation
- Authentication and session management
- First primary user journey end-to-end
- Staging URL live for client testing
Weeks 6–9
Sprint 2 — features and flows
All primary use cases built and testable. You test at the end of each sprint — not us. Weekly Loom updates keep you informed between syncs.
Output: All in-scope features built and tested on staging
- All scoped features implemented
- Client-facing testing session at sprint end
- Weekly async Loom updates on progress
- Technical decisions documented as we go
Weeks 9–11
QA and hardening
Dedicated QA pass by an engineer whose only job that week is to break the product. Performance audit, security basics, and cross-device testing on real hardware.
Output: Production-ready build with signed-off test matrix
- Manual testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, iOS, Android
- Performance audit — Lighthouse 90+ target on all metrics
- Security review: auth flows, input validation, exposed endpoints
- Bug triage and fix cycle before launch sign-off
Week 12
Launch and handover
We deploy to production on your cloud account — you own everything. Full codebase walkthrough, documentation handover, and 30 days of included post-launch bug support.
Output: Live product + full handover package
- Deployment to your AWS/GCP/Azure account — not ours
- 90-minute codebase walkthrough recorded for your team
- Architecture diagrams and runbook documentation
- 30-day post-launch bug support window included
CLIENT STORY
60+ MVPs shipped. Here's one.
Fundstack needed a fundable MVP in ten weeks — and walked into their seed round with $2.4M.
COMMON QUESTIONS
MVP development FAQ.
Very. We don't move the goalposts mid-project. Small clarifications within scope are absorbed. Genuine additions — new screens, new integrations — are formally quoted and pushed to a post-launch phase. It protects both sides.
We log them in a prioritised backlog for phase two. The best clients ship their MVP fast and iterate based on real user feedback — not on what they thought they wanted before anyone had used it.
Typically React or Next.js on the front end, Node.js/NestJS on the back end, PostgreSQL for data, and AWS/GCP/Azure for deployment. We match the stack to your product, your team, and your constraints — not to our preferences.
100%. We transfer full IP on final payment, deploy to your infrastructure, and hand over every credential and environment variable. We never lock you into our systems.
Discovery produces the scope document the MVP engagement builds against. You can come with your own scope — we'll validate it in a brief kick-off and get started. Most clients do discovery first; it almost always saves time and money in the build phase.
Options: bring in your own team (we hand over cleanly), sign a monthly retainer with us, or embed one of our engineers in your team. We'll recommend the right path based on where the product needs to go next.
