The Process
Here's exactly how a project works with us.
From the free 30-minute discovery call through scoping, design, development, QA, and post-launch handover — six stages, one team, no surprises.
Six stages
From first call to live product.
Every stage has a defined output. You always know what you're getting next.
Stage 1
Day 0 — Free
Discovery Call
A 30-minute conversation to understand your idea, the problem you're solving, your timeline, and your constraints. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit — and if not, who might be.
- No pitch, no slide deck — just an honest conversation
- We cover: problem, users, constraints, and timeline
- You'll hear an honest assessment of feasibility within 24 hours
Output
Go/no-go decision and rough scope direction
Stage 2
Weeks 1–2
Product Scoping
Deep-dive workshops to frame the problem, map user stories, and cut scope to what genuinely matters for version one. You get a fixed quote — not a range — at the end.
- 2–3 structured workshops with your team
- Feature prioritisation: must-have vs. post-MVP
- Tech stack recommendation with written rationale
- Fixed price quote — no 'it depends'
Output
Documented scope, feature matrix, initial wireframes, fixed timeline and quote
Stage 3
Weeks 2–4
UX Design
Wireframes to high-fidelity UI to interactive prototype. You get two review rounds with your stakeholders before a single line of production code is written.
- Low-fi wireframes first — structure before aesthetics
- Design system built in parallel for component reuse
- Interactive prototype for stakeholder sign-off
- Figma file with tokens, spacing, and variant documentation
Output
Developer-ready Figma designs with documented specs and interaction notes
Stage 4
Weeks 4–10
Development
Two-week agile sprints. At the end of each sprint, you access a live staging URL and test exactly what's been built. Weekly async Loom updates between syncs.
- 2-week sprint cycles with clear sprint goals
- Weekly demo — you test it, not us
- Slack channel with the full team — no PM filter
- Documented technical decisions as we go
Output
Incrementally built, tested features deployed to a staging environment you can access
Stage 5
Weeks 10–11
QA & Pre-launch
Dedicated QA pass by an engineer whose only job that week is to break the product. Functional testing, load testing, security basics, and mobile responsiveness across real devices.
- Manual testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, iOS, Android
- Performance audit (Lighthouse 90+ target)
- Security review: auth flows, input validation, exposed endpoints
- Bug triage and fix cycle before launch sign-off
Output
Production-ready build with a signed-off test matrix
Stage 6
Week 12
Launch & Handover
We deploy to production on your cloud account — you own everything. A full codebase walkthrough, documentation handover, and 30 days of included post-launch bug support.
- Deployment to your AWS/GCP/Azure account — not ours
- 90-minute codebase walkthrough session recorded for your team
- Architecture and runbook documentation
- 30-day post-launch bug support window included
Output
Live product + full handover package (codebase, docs, credentials, architecture diagram)
After launch
We don't disappear after delivery.
Three ways to keep working together after the initial build.
Retainer
Monthly hours for ongoing feature work, UI improvements, and product iterations — a fixed budget you control.
From 20 hrs/month
Dedicated Team
One or more senior engineers embedded in your team full-time, managed by your PM and working in your tools.
From 1 engineer
Monitoring & Support
Infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and security patching — so your product stays live as your user base grows.
24/7 coverage available
How we communicate
You're never in the dark.
We build in transparency by default. No status update meetings just to find out the status — you have direct access to the team and a live staging environment from week one.
Start the conversationSlack
Shared channel with the full build team — no PM filter.
Weekly demo
Every Friday you test a live staging URL. You break it, we fix it.
Bi-weekly sync
30-min video call to review sprint progress and adjust priorities.
Loom updates
Async video walkthroughs of new features between syncs.
Every project comes with a fixed price and fixed timeline before we start.
